GeneSight

GeneSight is a pharmacogenomic test that analyzes your genes to see how medications may affect you. The test results display how you respond to certain medications and how your body may break them down. Providers can use these results to help determine what to try and what to avoid when determining your treatment plan. The GeneSight test must be ordered by a clinician, like those here at SNBCare. Once the test is ordered, a kit will be promptly shipped to your home. You will have to fill out some general information as well as provide a cheek swab, which you will then ship back to GeneSight. Your provider will receive your results after some processing time and discuss them with you during an appointment. Any insurance or billing inquiries should be directed to GeneSight themselves.
