Prescribers:

We are currently looking for clinicians to provide psychiatric medication management to our patients for our offices in Massachusetts and/or Rhode Island.

Eligible Credentials: PMHNP/PA-C/DNP/FNP
Job Description: Providers in this role assess the mental health needs of patients under their care. They work with other staff, such as social workers, counselors, doctors, and therapists, to determine a diagnosis, develop a plan of care, and educate both patients and families on behaviors related to mental disorders.
Interview patients about symptoms and complaints and determine whether a psychiatric disorder has a physiological or emotional basis. Assessment of risk factors for mental illness and broader wellness evaluations are part of the job as well.

Psychiatric providers will be responsible for providing medication management to a diverse population of adults. Supervision will be given by the physician as required. For patients on medications, they monitor their use and document treatment results. For patients experiencing a mental crisis, psychiatric practitioners may intervene with therapy or medication.

Job Description: Providers in this role are expected to practice in accordance with the state’s laws, rules, and regulations. Psychotherapists shall practice as a member of an interdisciplinary health care team for all patients.
Psychotherapists complete comprehensive intake assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, provide individual therapy, family therapy, marriage therapy and coordination of care with other providers as needed.
