I am (Henry Young) a Licensed Clinical Social Worker practicing in the state of Rhode Island. I work with clients with a wide range of presenting problems including, but not limited to, acute stress disorders, addiction & recovery (alcoholism, drugs, and pornography), ADHD, adjustment disorders, aging, anger management, anxiety disorders, bereavement, bipolar disorders, church hurt, depression, existential crises, grief and loss, meaning and purpose, OCD, personality disorders, PTSD, & trauma.  I use a variety of therapies approaches drawing from evidence-based approaches—such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Psychodynamic techniques, Solution Focus, ACT, DBT, and Trauma Focus, I offer a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and empowered. I provide a compassionate, collaborative, and client-centered approach, always honoring the unique experiences and goals of everyone. I hold a Master of Social Work degree from National University and a Master of Education in Addiction and Mental Health.
